This past week in Vansant, there was a tragic stand off/shootings within walking distance of our house. Damon saw a helicopter land right next to our house, which is amazing considering we are sandwiched between two very close mountains. A man that was stealing auto parts from a salvage yard shot 4 deputies and ended up killing two of them. Such a sad story, and really a tragic event in our small town.

Daily Grind
So here I sit, at a local coffee shop in Missoula on my day off (Wednesdays). I don't have internet where I'm staying for the next few months, so I use this day to pay bills, send emails, etc. My work is going great - finally got my MT license so I can officially see patients. I'm working with a really fun team of co-workers and I think this job is going to be a great fit for me. I have about 10 days until my big manual therapy test! Yikes!! And to top it off, I have a sinus infection/cold that decided to set in a couple of day ago. The plus side of my test is that Damon is going to come and meet me in Knoxville for the weekend, so it will break up our 8 weeks apart.

Back in MT!
It's amazing how fast my 2 1/2 years in VA went by! I have made such great friends in Virginia and have so many fond memories that I will treasure forever. Damon graduates on April 30th!! I started looking for a job back in December, and found one in Missoula! This was a blessing considering PT jobs don't come around very often in Missoula. In order to have the job, I had to come out early to start work. I left VA on Wednesday and flew out with Igor to MT. I'm staying with our friend Eric for the next two months. Work is going to be great. I love the new clinic and my co-workers. I will work M,T,Th,F - 10 hour days. It feels so great to be back on MT soil and will be even better once Damon can join me and we can do some of our favorite things here in Missoula.
